2023 Organic Gardening Classes

If you want to grow a garden and produce your own food, especially with food prices so high, but don't have your own garden space, come to the IFCGA garden classes, learn how to garden, and register for your own garden plot in one of our three city gardens.

Idaho Falls Community Garden Association is a non-profit organization who runs the three gardens in our community. They are so excited to be back at ISU University Place to give our free winter garden classes in person! The board members are long-time experts on garden practices that work best here in our harsh climate and altitude. The Idaho Falls Community Garden Board members are giving 8 free organic gardening classes beginning Wednesday, January 11 at 7 pm to 9 pm and running every Wednesday through Wednesday March 1.

These classes focus especially on what new gardeners in the area need to know for a successful, garden. But they are also up-to-date with ideas for experienced gardeners to improve soil, water wisely, start seeds, weed successfully, control insects and choose which tomatoes and peppers to grow.
