Slam poetry differs from traditional poetry in that the words are written to escape the page, and from traditional poetry readings in that the poets are competing for audience and judge approval. The Poetry Slam at TAM brings this compelling art form into an intimate, friendly space, making for one the classiest slams in the region. Join us each April and October as a poet, audience member or both!
