Aids Memorial Quilt
Stitched by family members, friends and loved ones of 105,000+ victims of the estimated 700,000 total lives lost to AIDS and HIV-related illness in the U.S., The National AIDS Memorial Quilt is the largest ongoing community folk art project in the world.

The Quilt is part of the National AIDS Memorial’s efforts to bring the Quilt to communities across the United States to raise greater awareness and education about HIV/AIDS and to remember those lost to the AIDS pandemic.
