Maker Pink Workshop: Intro to Laser
Hands-on maker projects help women develop creative confidence in fields and activities traditionally of interest to men. By opening our workshop doors and knowledge to young women in Idaho Falls, we hope to help boost ladies’ STEM interest, ingenuity, and can-do attitude.
January 22, 2020 06:30 PM - 09:00 PM
This workshop requires PREPARATION. Attendees must download a software trial, tackle tutorial(s), and bring a simple drawing on USB drive. This can be done at the local library if you do not have a computer. More information will be sent to registered attendees.

AGE RESTRICTION

We have set the minimum age to 14, to ensure that the whole group is focused and that there are no distractions from potentially complex learning material. You are welcome to contact us to discuss special situations or to request a class for younger attendees.

CAPACITY

Capacity is limited to 12 participants. Workshops are hosted in the Bear & Blue space, which is a working creative studio. You will be surrounded by works-in-progress for the manufacturing side of the business. We recommend wearing comfy clothes and shoes. Stains are possible.
