Visiting the Idaho Falls Zoo

The “Best Little Zoo in the West” is home to over 300 animals, representing 130 different species from all over the globe. Our local zoo has many exciting exhibits including African Penguins, the Giant Aldabra Tortoise display, a children’s zoo and a bi-level otter tank. Located on the western side of Tautphaus Park, the Idaho Falls Zoo will take you on an adventure around the globe.

Exploring the East Idaho Aquarium

Everything from sharks, sloths and interactive displays can be found at our local aquarium. Spend a few hours with the fish and other species to learn everything there is to know about local and distant wildlife and be sure to check out the interactive displays, home to starfish and stingrays.

Cheering on the Idaho Falls Chukars

There aren't many things that compare to a pro baseball game, a basket of chili fries and a refreshing drink at our beloved hometown ballpark during the summer. The Idaho Falls Chukars make their home at the Melaleuca Field where you can catch them in action from June to September.

Taking a Trip to the Museum of Idaho

The Museum of Idaho is a local favorite for a reason. This museum features a “Way Out West” exhibit, covering the complete history of Idaho Falls and the surrounding area, interactive displays, an art gallery, a rotating exhibit, a replica of a 1900 town and other special artifacts. MOI is the perfect destination for a fun and educational filled summer day.

Movie Night at the Motor Vu

Lava’s Olympic Swimming Pool & Indoor Aquatic Center Water Park

As the motto goes, ‘Swim, Dive and Slide’ at the Lava Hot Springs Olympic Swimming Complex.
