WONDERING WHAT TO DO THIS SUMMER? Getting out in the sun and exploring the city is one of the best ways to spend your time as a family or with friends. Develop a new view of Idaho Falls by completing this checklist of items compiled by Idaho Falls Magazine staff.

•Take a walk or play a game of disc golf at Freeman Park.
• Enjoy a picnic at the Idaho Falls Riverwalk.
• Attend a baseball game at Melaleuca Field.
• Get creative at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho or the ARTitorium on Broadway.
• Explore the falls by getting up close and personal with our man-made dam on the Snake River Ferry.
• Get to know local wildlife at the Idaho Falls Zoo or East Idaho Aquarium.
• Slow down and meditate at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
• Visit Winne & Mo’s Bookshop for children’s story time or an open mic night.
• Spend a Saturday shopping at the Idaho Falls Farmers Market.
• Hike a portion of Hell’s Half Acre and admire the lava formations.
• Borrow and read a book from the Idaho Falls Public Library.
• Attend a first-Thursday Gallery Walk with the Idaho Falls Arts Council.
• Eat at one of your favorite local food trucks.
• Admire the Snake River by taking a walk along Taylor’s Crossing.
• Learn something new by visiting the Museum of Idaho.
