What kind of gifts do you cherish? The answer isn’t the same for everyone, but for most of us it isn’t the new car or blender on our eternal wishlists. It’s the household items made by people we love. For the less craft-savvy among us, it feels impossible to give a blanket or piece of décor made entirely by ourselves, but that’s where the Idaho Falls AR Workshop steps into help.
Created by Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff, the AR Workshop walks you through the process of creating memorable crafts. Launched only three years ago, this DIY-loving group has over 150 franchise locations across the country. One of their newest locations opened this year in Idaho Falls.
The crew at AR Workshop walks you step by step of the task of crafting, guiding all in attendance through the task of creating. All in attendance walk away with something they can feel proud of, taking the stress out of learning a new skill set. Now, the toughest choice you will face after becoming a craft connoisseur is whether or not to keep your hard-earned creation or share it with your chosen person.
Local couple Brandi and Michael Erickson launched the Idaho Falls AR Workshop together, providing classes Tuesday through Thursday that crafters can sign up for online. Customers can choose to sign up for classes already available or sign up a group of friends for a project of their choosing.
Accomplishing a double feat, Brandi also opened The Nice Spot next door with her sister-in-law, Britney Bair, and mother-in-law Janet Erickson. The cozy coffee shop along the Riverwalk offers a view of the falls, drop coffee and soda, and books and gifts from local creators. So, no matter what your style you are sure to find something to love in this quaint corner along the river.
