IDAHO FALLS — The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho (TAM) honors the uniquely individual contributions of Beth Griebenow, John Griffith and Roy Reynolds to the artistic fabric of eastern Idaho in their newest exhibit, A Tribute, through December 31, 2021.

Beth Griebenow introduced many of our celebrated regional artists to the medium of watercolor.
She traveled widely to teach and exhibit alongside fellow local art legends, Marilyn Hoff Hansen and Gloria Miller Allen who were collectively referred to as "Three Eyes on Art." Beth's love and passion for painting was expressed through her desire to teach others.

A true renaissance man, the Idaho Falls art community was the beneficiary of the years of leadership experience John Griffith cultivated at the Department of Energy and in establishing Development Workshop Inc. in memory of their special-needs daughter. Without John's leadership for ten long years among local artists, the dream of an art museum in Idaho Falls would have never become a reality.

Known among his peers as an "artist's artist," legendary Idaho Falls artists Roy Reynolds was widely known for his artistic talent and wit. Though he did not teach any workshops, many local artists reflect on the many lessons and insights into art that they learned from Roy. As a cowboy, graphic designer for the INEL and Carole King, and as a highly-esteemed regional artist, Roy Reynolds touched the lives of many.

Special thanks to the Griebenow, Griffith and Reynolds families, and to our local arts community for joining us in paying tribute to three very special members of our museum family.

A Tribute is sponsored by Bank of Idaho. The 2020-21 season is made possible in part by Anne Voillequé and Louise Nelson and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the Western States Arts Federation.

Also featuring . . . The Corridor Gallery is exhibiting the 25th Anniversary Juried exhibit of the Colored Pencil Society of America's local chapter, District 217. The Museum Artists are featured in the Studio Gallery with affordable, original art for holiday shopping.
