Last year, Idaho Falls Magazine covered all of the delicious eats you can find at 1 Fine Cafe across from the Grand Teton Mall. This year, the former restaurant will be transformed into Elevate Bake Shop, allowing you to purchase old favorites like the cafe’s bread and other delicious finds.
The New Club Apple
Visit the gym in 2021 and enjoy unbelievable perks
You already read our Editor’s article about getting started with fitness at Club Apple, so it is unlikely you need any more incentive to purchase your gym membership. However, Club Apple is pulling out all of the stops this year.
Club apple introduced the Reme Halo to members last year. The air-purifying system kills up to 99% of germs and bacteria, reduces airborne particulates and is approved by the U.S. Military for mold reduction in field hospitals. Members can attend the club with a sound piece of mind during these challenging times.
Not only has Club Apple boosted air-quality at the club, but they have also added some new perks to their memberships in 2021, including access to the now heated outdoor pool all year round, unlimited tans and free towel service.
Getting the Grade
EIRMC Receives ‘A’ Grade in Annual Safety Review
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center has received an “A” in the Fall 2020 Hospital Safety Score published by The Leapfrog Group. The designation recognizes exceptional performance that consistently meets evidence-based patient safety guidelines.
“At EIRMC, patient safety is a top priority,” EIRMC CEO Jeff Sollis said. “This rating confirms our ability to prevent infections and injuries, medical and medication errors, and an overall commitment to patient safety and quality. We have so many things to be proud of at EIRMC and our continued achievement of the Hospital Safety ‘A’ grade is one of them.”
Over 2,600 hospitals in the U.S are assessed a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. The Leapfrog Group’s nine-member Blue Ribbon Expert Panel on patient safety analyzes 27 national performance, quality and outcome measures to assign the “grade.” The goal is to provide patients and their families’ with information to make educated choices about their healthcare.
