Did you know Idaho Falls has its own dog park? It’s the perfect place to socialize your furry friends and give them the chance to run some of their extra energy out of their systems. The park is located by the Snake River Animal Shelter, with plenty of space for parking and to take your dog for a walk around the fenced enclosure to acclimate him if you so choose.
The park is divided into small-dog and large-dog areas, so that your pooch can mingle with friends closest to its size.
Obstacle courses in each of the areas provide dog owners with the opportunity to train their dogs to jump and listen to commands. Wide open spaces allow for plenty of room to run free and play with other animals. Conveniently located benches and tables give owners the chance to rest while their dogs have fun.
Frequent attendees of the park might have recently noticed some construction and new additions to the park. New amenities, such as a shelter, are coming soon.
