The Motor Vu Drive-In is here and ready to save your summer. The drive-in successfully reopened Friday, May 15th with showings of Back to the Future.
“Style-wise we're bringing it back to 1947,” shared Andy Johnson, general manager of ANDX Entertainment. “So, we’re going retro. I'm excited for how we can still be connected during the time of physical distancing and be able to enjoy a nice film and see good things to have right here in Idaho falls.”
Style changes aren’t the only thing guests at the drive-in will notice this summer. Johnson and staff are also making a few logistical changes to keep guests and workers safe.
“We're working on finalizing a direct delivery system so people can order from the concession stand and then get it delivered right to their car,” Johnson said. “And so it's making sure that we're taking health and sanitation really highly. We have individual toilets spread around the facility. [COVID-19] presents some fun challenges, but nothing that we can't get through to have a good time.”
