Unique for a city of its size, Idaho Falls is home to three championship-calibre 18-hole golf courses, each of which has hosted state and regional-level tournaments. All three courses endorse the National Tee-It-Forward program with several sets of teeing grounds including a forward set of very friendly tees.

Pinecrest Golf Course

Pinecrest is 83-years old and is the City’s oldest golf course. Boasting a historic log clubhouse, this course offers a short game practice area, a practice putting green, large tree-lines fairways, rolling hills, average sized greens and only one water hazard. Pinecrest is easy to walk and has beauty and history rolled into one.

Sand Creek Golf Course

Sand Creek is a fun and generally wide open golf course, allowing golfers of all abilities to enjoy themselves on the course. Sand Creek offers a large all grass driving range, two practice putting greens, a 6-hole short course, tree-lined fairways, above-average sized greens, several water hazards and despite its name, no sand bunkers. Instead, natural sand dunes run adjacent to several holes throughout the course. 5200 South 25 East

Sage Lakes Golf Course

Sage Lakes is the City’s youngest golf course and has much more of a links style golf course feel. Winding through a newer subdivision, Sage Lakes has very few trees but offers open fairways, lots of water hazards and several bunkers. It is fun to play and has a wide variety of teeing grounds to accommodate the Tee it Forward program. The course has a very large all-grass driving range and two practice putting greens to work on your game when you’re short on time. 100 East 65 North
