It may be April 1, but it's no joke! Tonight is the 2020 Idaho Falls Mayor’s Scholarship Awards. Although coronavirus-mitigation measures have put the kibosh on a physical community gathering, event coordinators have prepared and scheduled an online awards presentation for 7:15 p.m.
“It has not been easy to coordinate what we wanted to do with the protocols in place,” noted Mayor’s Scholarship Fund Executive Director Leslie Pincock, “but we have done our best and hope that you feel the spirit of the messages and the heart that has gone into making this possible.”

“Gather a few of your loved ones around you and have as many others as you would like to join you online to celebrate this great achievement,” Pincock added. “We will go live on Facebook just before [7:15 p.m.] so those of you viewing there can interact a bit before the main event.”
The evening’s presentation is a joint effort of the scholarship fund’s board of directors and sponsors, IE Productions and Blue Phoenix Branding.
