Heads-up for local wine connoisseurs: Got a penchant for pairings?
Join the Hospice of Eastern Idaho for their 7th annual Light and Laughter for a night of gourmet food and paired wine tasting. The Jan. 25 event acts as a fundraiser for Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
Hospice of Eastern Idaho relies on fundraisers for their funding, which goes to help uninsured or underinsured people. Funding received from the night makes Light and Laughter their biggest fundraiser of the year.
Jill Landon, Director of Community Outreach for the hospice, said, “Our belief is that all people deserve the right to have quality care and comfort for both themselves and their families during their final season of life.”
Along with the five-course meal and wine pairing, Light and Laughter also holds a live and silent auction, and a dessert auction.
Light and Laughter is held at Bennion Student Union Building at University Place on Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. Prices are $640 for a table of 8, $160 for a couple and $80 for an individual. Reservations are required and there is limited seating. To reserve a spot, call (208) 529-0342.
