In partnership with the Idaho Commission on the Arts, the Idaho State Complete Count committee invites all Idaho elementary students to submit artwork to the 2020 Census Bookmark Contest. Artwork from selected winners will be featured on bookmarks that will be distributed throughout the state to promote engagement with the 2020 census. Students are encouraged to learn and share about the decennial census, its importance and options for completion.

The contest is open to Idaho elementary school students. Drawings should reflect the theme of “My Idaho Home” or “My Idaho Family.” Submitted artwork should be full color, and in any medium. Bold lines and designs that can be reproduced easily in small format are recommended. Electronic files should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. All traditional, high resolution file formats will be accepted, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files.

If interested, complete the Census Bookmark Contest form and upload your completed artwork with required information to Or, on a separate piece of paper, complete artwork in a 4 in. x 10 in. space and upload or mail in your entry.

The winning entries will be reproduced on bookmarks and distributed to public and school libraries throughout the state. Copies will be provided to artists with winning entries.

Hard copy submissions must be postmarked by Friday, January 10, 2020. Please mail to:
