Have your costume-clad kiddos grown a bit bored with the old neighborhood trick-or-treating routine? If so, it's time to spiff up your face paint and hold on to your capes.

The Idaho Falls Zoo is the place to be Halloween week for Boo st the Zoo. Between beautifully decorated trees and paths in fantastic lights, festive booths and a lineup of spooky characters, the zoo will not disappoint any goblin, witch or ghost.

Boo at the Zoo will offer many surprises Oct. 24-26.

In addition to the 200,000 lights on display, the animals are very active during the evening hours.

Tautphaus Park staffers say the event is “Merry, not scary” and will have all kinds of games, prizes, and tricks on display among the numerous booths scattered throughout the zoo.

We'll see ya there.
