"Meet a Scientist" and "Discovery Day" at the Museum of Idaho
Get ready for "Cold Science! Featuring Phenomenal Physics" on Saturday, February 15. (Meet a Scientist  runs from 9:30-10:30am and Discovery Day goes from 10:30am – 12:30pm.) What happens when you combine those fun and crazy guys from Phenomenal Physics with water ice, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, instantly freezing soda, and ice cream? Why, exciting hands-on science, of course! We’ll celebrate the opening of the Museum of Idaho’s latest exhibit, Race to the End of the Earth, by learning about the science of all things cold.

In Discovery Day on February 15 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., kids ages 6-12 can register to explore the science of cold even more in fun science activities (including making root beer floats!) investigate the climate of Antarctica, and a look at the new exhibit.

Meet a Scientist is FREE to the public thanks to the generous support of the INL, URS, Gonzales-Stoller Surveillance and Newspaper in Education. Discovery Day is $20 per child, or $15 for MOI members.
Preregistration is strongly encouraged. Register here
