This year marks a momentous landmark in the long traditions of Earth Day and National Bike Month.

For the first time in the history of Earth Day and National Bike Month a resource and support network exists exclusively to support beginner cyclists: My City Bikes.

Currently in the campaign's inaugural year, My City Bikes is a mobile and online resource that provides free, localized biking app utilities to communities across the country that guide entry-level riders to understand where, how and what to ride.

Biking is the one activity that empowers people to live green, save green and improve their health inside and out in the process. The My City Bikes movement is a growing coalition of more than 100 official partners, including bike shops, local governments, national brands and corporate supporters who have all come together to establish local resources for more than 70 cities that make biking an activity that everyone can access and enjoy.
