From the Emmy-nominated journalist who documented disappearing salmon across the Pacific Northwest and recovering grizzlies in Greater Yellowstone, comes a high desert adventure with the largest grouse in North America. Greater sage grouse.

“We’ve explored the wild with abandon by chasing fin first and then fur,” says Kris Millgate, outdoor journalist and owner of Tight Line Media. “Only seems right to go all in for feathers next.”

Inland Northwest Toyota Dealers and Four Wheel Campers are partnering with Millgate this summer to travel the West’s high desert in search of a hard-to-find bird with a strut you’ll never tiring of watching.

“This will be the next great wildlife adventure from Tight Line Media,” says Travis Zmak, Teton Toyota managing partner. “We are continually proud to support Kris’s films as they expose audiences to the complexity of North American wildlife. Kris promotes conversations and education that ensure our youth will continue to have the opportunity to live with these animals and many others.”

Through fire, fence, drought and development watch the largest grouse in North America make its way with us in the way during field production of the new wildlife documentary, Sage Wisdom West. “We have been thrilled to partner with Kris Millgate as she explores, learns, and communicates about the natural world,” says Dan Welty, Four Wheel Campers president.

“We look forward to what lies ahead for Kris knowing we will all learn more about nature through her discoveries.”

The high desert adventure starts May 1, 2024. Episodes post every Wednesday at sagewisdomewest.com.
