The Nature Conservancy is bringing the Wild & Scenic Film Festival to Idaho Falls and with it comes Restoring Hope, a Tight Line Media film.

Restoring Hope is an Idaho-based film produced by Idaho-based production house Tight Line Media. The documentary follows the restoration of the Jackknife watershed in east Idaho. Tight Line Media CEO Kris Millgate made several trips to the drainage to capture three months of restoration work done by Trout Unlimited and Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

“Millgate’s dedication to her work and her enthusiasm for producing exceptional films allowed us to effectively document our restoration efforts,” says Louis Wasniewski, Forest Service hydrologist. “I’m excited to see the collaborative restoration work done in East Idaho go on tour with the festival so the rest of the world can see it.”

Restoring Hope started touring with the Wild & Scenic Film Festival in February. The tour stops at more than 100 venues across the country including The Nature Conservancy tour stop in Idaho Falls April 24.
