Hirnyck will discuss the recent publicity around the use of glyphosate in agricultural and urban settings. She will explain where and how to find resources on pesticide toxicity and what the information means to you and the general public. Additionally, we will cover what risk is and what it means to different people. Finally, a discussion regarding hazard and safety for pesticide applicators. Hazard or Risk equals the product toxicity X the exposure to the pesticide. What does this mean and what can applicators do to help reduce the hazard or risk to glyphosate. 60 minutes.
