This presentation focuses on “how the Bauhaus Changed the World” first in Europe and then in America after the school was closed by the Nazis. In celebration of the one hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Bauhaus in Weimar, Germany in 1919, TAM’s current exhibit, From the Vault, showcases several pieces by celebrated Bauhaus instructor, Josef Albers.
