IDAHO FALLS -- Four acclaimed Idaho CEOs with a shared commitment to the communities where they live and a passion for advancement through collaboration, will unite during a dynamic live webinar event from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20.

The public is invited to log on as broadcast news veteran, Karole Honas moderates the event: "On Leadership & Innovation." The online panel discussion is geared toward Idaho businesses and organizations dealing with challenges wrought by Covid-19.

The webinar panelists are civic leaders in their local communities and are well-known business leaders across the state and beyond: Jeff Newgard, President and CEO Bank of Idaho; Dr. Mark Peters, Director of the Idaho National Laboratory; Chris Taylor, President, CEO and Co-owner of Fisher’s Technology; and Lori Sessions, CEO of Grand Peaks Medical Center.

“I’m like a kid in a candy shop over this chance to guide a real discussion, and discover for all of our business owners and organizations what these respected and diverse leaders have learned from the onset of the pandemic, and dig into what they’ve really had to deal with,” Honas said. “How they’ve handled their own businesses’ challenges and retained their workforce can help us all gain insights into the next phase of the so-called new-normal. I’m betting as varied as their backgrounds are, that we’ll uncover some common ground and fundamental tenets as well.”

Topics will range in scope from comparing the 2008-09 downturn to today's events; to tracking the evolution of company culture through Idaho’s four rebounding phases; to forecasting Covid’s lasting effects on companies and communities.
