The United States Air Force Academy Band’s Rampart Winds from Colorado Springs will be presenting their first Idaho Falls performance on Feb. 22. This concert’s theme is “Our Nation’s Tribute” and features classical music from American composers along with familiar classical favorites and patriotic music for all ages to enjoy. This concert is free and open to the public and tickets are available at the Idaho Falls Artc Council.
The Friday performance is set for the Colonial Theater at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Feb. 23, the band will be perfoming up in Rexburg at BYU-Idaho. That concert is set for 1 p.m.
For over 60 years, the Academy Band has used the power of music to honor our nation’s heroes, inspire Air Force personnel and the nation they serve, produce innovative musical programs and products and communicate Air Force excellence to millions around the world.
