The Idaho Falls Arts Council is pleased to present Socks in the Frying Pan – a multi-award winning trio from County Clare, Ireland – on March 23rd at the Colonial Theater at 7:30 p.m.
Having studied music from a young age, these energetic performers have traditional Irish music in their blood. Their incredible instrumental talent is matched by beautiful harmonies and a witty stage presence.
“Celtic music is extremely popular in our area, and sometime that leads to the feeling that you’ve seen it all before, but Socks in the Frying Pan breathe new fun and life into traditional music,” said Brandi Newton, Executive Director of the Idaho Falls Arts Council.
All three members of Socks in the Frying Pan have advanced degrees in music and are educators in Ireland.
