We’ve made a few changes to the Mutt Strut this year: You can walk or run alone, or in a PACK. You can walk or run a mile or walk or run a 5K; your choice. You can pay your own entry fee or collect pledges to go toward your fundraising goal. Dala
Dala is an acoustic-folk, two piece musical group featuring Sheila Carabine and Amanda Walther, both of Scarborough, Ontario. Their vocal harmonmies and songwriting, reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel and the Indigo Girls, is guaranteeed to give you chills. Dala make sue of thier considerable talents on guitar and piano, woven with their sense of humor, which has endeared them to audiences thorugh Canadian music festivals, and more recently on their PBS Special, "Girls of the North Country."

Harvest Fest
Celebrate the arrival of fall and its time-honored traditions at this years 5th annual Harvest Fest. The event will be held at the beautiful master-planned community of Snake River Landing on Harvest Fest will feature a wide variety of craft and food booths along with festive activities such as pumpkin carving, hay mazes, a scarecrow display, live music, and archery contests along with a kids area full of games and free prizes. This is the 2nd year Harvest Fest will be held at Snake River Landing. Admission is free and the first 2,500 kids to arrive will receive free balloons. Fall-themed celebration with vendors, hay maze, live entertainment, scarecrow stroll, pumpkin glow and more! Free to the public. The New Christy Minstrels
The New Christy Minstrels were formed by singer/guitarist Randy Sparks in 1961 when they burst onto the folk scene with "a barrage of color-coordinated blazers, starched petticoats, choreographed grins, and stage makeup." For the past four years, Randy Sparks has presided over a faithfully-restored group, reclaiming its rightful place on stage and in the hearts and minds of millions. Sparks says "Life is wonderful! It's so much better than before. We've also been blessed with the age and wisdom that arrives therewith, so we can better appreciate how special is our time on each and every stage. We love what we do!" The New Christy Minstrels are currently performing with eight members including Randy Sparks and Barry McGuire. The group's Top 40 hits include This Land Is Your Land, Today, Ramblin', and Green, Green.

Go Kart and Stock Car Races
Concessions are available. Classes start with go karts ranging from beginners (ages as young as 4 years old), to the 500cc karts. The stock cars have 5 classes. The mini stocks are 4 cylinder cars that are pretty much stock, the pure stocks are V8 powered cars that are stock, street stocks are V8 cars that have been tuned up to be loud and fast. Now we have the IMCA divisions, the southern sport modifieds are new in 2010 to this area and is the growing class of choice. It is realativly inexpensive but offers the look and benefits of IMCA racing. The IMCA modifieds are the show stoppers, these cars are open wheel and are fabricated by a variety of chassis builders across the country, these are not just the run of the mill race cars, these are real race cars. This class puts on a great show and the teams are serious about their racing. IMCA is a national sanctioning body that governs rules and events across the country. If you have questions about IMCA go to imca.com. Most all the drivers are from the surrounding area, we do get modified teams on a regular basis from the Wyoming and Utah areas.

Reunion
Reunion has been called one of America's greatest romantic vocal groups of all time. They will be performing at the BPAC on September 24 as part of their Final Reunion Tour. This concert is sponsored by Double A Productions. Reunion performed at the BPAC in 2008 and was a sell-out.......so get your tickets early! The "Lettermen" singing trio was founded by Jim Pike and later joined by his brother Gary. Together, they enjoyed an unprecedented forty-six consecutive hit records. In 2001, Jim and Gary as "The Lettermen" were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Because of overwhelming requests to re-unite, Jim and Gary Pike, along with Ric de Azevedo, who gained fame as a member of "The King Family" and "The King Cousins", have re-united their harmonic singing talents to now be known as "REUNION."

Snowmobile Grass Drag Races
We are an organization that puts on Snowmobile Grass Drag Races every year. The first race of the season will be held Sept 25th near Osgood. Take the exit by the Budweiser silos and follow the signs. Sign up will begin at 8:00am. We have a kids group that is ages 10 through 13 that can race. Then the rest of the groups go up from there. Trophies and money is up for grabs. We will have a food vendor there doing breakfast, lunch and dinner. A raffle will be held with lots of good stuff. Then the next race will be in Malad, Id on Oct 9th. Then Wellsville, UT on Oct 16th, Honeyville, UT on Oct 30th , Morgan Valley, UT on Nov 6th and the last one will be in Pocatello, ID at the fair grounds on Nov 20th. Rogers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!

Dog Obedience Classes begin
The Upper Snake River Valley Dog Training Club (USRVDTC)continues to serve the Community by providing low-cost Dog Obedience, Rally and Agility Training Classes as well as Canine Good Citizen testing. USRVDTC offers 3 sessions of Obedience Classes and 2 sessions of Agility Classes each year. A Rally Class is offered during the June/July session of classes. Each class costs $50 which includes eight one-hour sessions held over eight weeks. Senior Citizen discounts are available. The Class Schedule for 2010 is as follows: Obedience Classes: Feb 3, through March 24th , June 2nd - July 28 and Sept 29 - Nov 17th . Agility Classes April 7-May 26th and Aug 4th- Sept 22. Dates and times are subject to change without notice. Classes are limited in size so Pre-Registration is a must.
