Even if you were born yesterday, odds are you've heard songs by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. From the 70s to today, these classic rock goddesses have stormed the music charts and ruled the radio waves with hits like "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," and "Barracuda." Ah yes, now you remember singing along to these greats at the top of your lungs as a teen.
Not only do these women command respect with their powerful vocals and engaging instrumentals, they also write their own music. The Wilson sisters and their band Heart have sold more than 35 million albums, played to sold out arenas worldwide and even left a mark on successful motion pictures. Heart proved they could still rock after three decades in the business after the release of their album "Red Velvet Car" in 2010, which hit the Billboard Top 10. A year later their concert DVD "Night at Sky Church" made the Top 5.
The band recently released a career-spanning box set "Strange Euphoria," an anthology of popular hits, previously unreleased gems and live performances. This fall Heart fans will be treated to a brand new album, Fanatic, accessible October 2—in addition to a hardcover memoir "Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul and Rock and Roll," due out September 18.
