Guns vs. Hoses

Charity softball game returns to Melaleuca Field

Guns vs. Hoses

What's more popular than the summer olympics? Watching cops battle firefighters in a game of softball.

Anything goes in this softball game. Last year the firefighters chucked water ballons and assaulted the police with super soakers. In the end, the fire fighters won and the cops handed the trophy over to the victors. This year the cops are serious about taking it back!

Cops will be making the firefighter's team shirts, just as they did last year... and the fire fighters will design the cops team shirts. (those will be available to purchase as soon as we have the hilarious designs uploaded for you to see).

And this year... even more tricks and scheming will take place. The cops have a few tricks up their sleeves to get back at the fire fighters. Anything could happen!

Not only is this entertaining to watch, but this game is put on for a good cause. The money made will be donated to the Make A Wish foundation.

Time: gates open at 6 p.m.; game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 per person; $20 per family suggested donation

Location: Melaleuca Field, Jim Garshow Way, Idaho Falls
