Idaho National Laboratory and Eastern Idaho Technical College will begin hosting a monthly energy film seriesand panel discussion about the future of energy in America. The film series is free of charge and open to the public.
Each documentary-style film examines the nation’s energy resources, consumption habits, and economic and environmental impacts. The films will run monthly between August and November. After each film, a panel session featuring regional energy experts will discuss the film and answer audience questions.
The following films will be featured during the series;The Great Squeeze,Powering America,Energy Crossroads, andEnergy on Trial. The film series and panel discussions are also sponsored by the Partnership for Science and Technology, Idaho State University’s Energy Systems Technology and Education Center, Idaho Falls Power, and the Partners for Prosperity.
