Q-Racing Ace Jennifer Hancock will make an appearance at Sandy Downs on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26 to offer fan education assistance to the patrons attending the live American Quarter Horse races. The weekend’s racing action features the Giltner Trucking Bonus Challenge, and the trials for the Hawthorne Futurity on Saturday & Hadtobenuts Derby Trials on Sunday. The weekend will be filled with fun and something for everyone. Saturday’s first race is at 5pm MDT and on Sunday post time is 1pm MDT.
Hancock has been affiliated with the Q-Racing Aces, a fan education program initiated by the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), since 2010. She and the other members of the Q-Racing Aces have traveled to racetracks across the country to promote the sport, provide fan education services and create excitement for "America's Fastest Athletes".
The Q-Racing Aces foster an up close and personal approach with fans and welcome any and all questions on Quarter Horse racing and handicapping. The Q-Racing Aces have made visits to Los Alamitos, Remington Park, Fair Grounds, Sam Houston Race Park, Delta Downs, Canterbury Park, Fort Erie, Prairie Meadows, Evangeline Downs, Arapahoe Park and Ruidoso Downs.
Hancock will offer a free handicapping seminar both days before racing and offer her analysis of the entire card. She will have free wagering handouts, courtesy of the AQHA and will give fans a complimentary tip sheet.
