Shoot, That's Not so Hard...

Free training for Cowboy Fast Draw

Shoot, That's Not so Hard...

Got an itchy trigger finger? The folks at Cowboy Fast Draw have just the cure.

A get-together is planned for Sunday, August 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the "Hideout" located at 10648 N. 25th E. (Hitt Road).

If you've never tried fast draw, you're in for a real hoot. The gracious cowboys will let you try it for free. Bring the whole family out because even the kids ages 8 and older can give it a try. If you have trouble finding the range just call 881-8229 and ask for Brett Gyorfy.

In Cowboy Fast Draw, shooters use the best equipment available from the Nineteenth Century, including single-action revolvers and center fire cartridges. Great care has been taken to capture the feel of the Peacemaker in your hand, the smell of holster leather, and the exhilaration of reacting as fast as you dare while remaining cool-headed enough to hit your mark as you compete head to head in classic old west fashion. In Cowboy Fast Draw, you can find out how you would have shot in the 1800's with gunfighter period guns and rigs.

Cowboy Fast Draw L.L.C. is the newest and oldest shooting sport today. It is a timed sport using single action .45 caliber western style six shooters. As event organizers put it, "It's as exciting as dropping the clutch on a dragster."
