"The Old Faithful of Rod Runs" is back, celebrating its 42nd year just up the road in West Yellowstone, Mont.
Supporting the Big Brothers/Big Sisters initiative, this weekend extravaganza features an Ice cream social, parade and poker walks.
There's a dedicated cruise to Yellowstone National Park, a raffle and "Show and Shine" display of fine classic rods in the local park.
The West Yellowstone Rod Run thrills folks from all over as 500-700 street rods fill the streets and a festival atmosphere takes over the entire town. The run annually draws rods from all over the United States for cruises and various competitions. Saturday's Parade of Rods on Canyon Street is an event highlight.
The Show & Shine in City Park, where a festival atmosphere prevails, is also on Saturday and is open and free to the public.
