When it comes to memorable summer events, Idaho Falls magazine has got the scoop. Plenty of scoops. Thousands, in fact. And for a handful of extra-hungry attendees at the magazine's Fourth Annual Scoop Jam! celebration, the ice cream was only the beginning.
Aside from the obvious, one of the event's most popular attractions continues to be a series of eating contests that take place through the fun-filled afternoon.
"This was our most popular year yet for pies and ribs," notes event organizer Robin Black. "And new this year was a special ice-cream eating contest."
Plans for next year include a return of all three contests, plus a few more surprises now in the works.
