Each year, a gathering of balloon pilots who love to fly near the Tetons come together in Driggs to celebrate Independence Day with the local community as well as visitors from around the world.
The first Balloon Rally in Teton Valley took place in Driggs over the 4th of July weekend in 1981. Now more than three decades later, the tradition continues.
The rally is still an institution in the valley, drawing balloon pilots and spectators from all over the country.
