About the Organization
The Weaving, Spinning & Fiber Arts Guild of Idaho Falls is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1977.
Guild officials and members are dedicated to teaching and building skills in fiber arts, but most of all, thegoal is to share and find joy in common interests. Whether it be spinning, weaving, basketry or whatever, these fiber arts knit artisans together as they nurture friendships and knowledge.
The Guild rents a Fiber Art Studio, Idaho Falls at 482 Constitution Street, Suite B-11. Access is through the front entrance and parking is available in the adjacent lot near the side entrance.
Guild members enjoy many benefits, and learn about various aspects of fiber arts such as felting, basketry, and dyeing. Members have interests in a wide variety of related areas including knitting, tapestry, rug making, beading, fiber crafts, and making lace.
Guild members have access to a large library of book and magazines to check out as well as looms, spinning wheels and other fiber SRTA equipment.
