Think you have the best bread in town? The most scrumptious salad? The beefiest burger? KLCE is inviting you to put your culinary skills to the test as you dish it out in the Recipe Rumble. The event itself is set for May 19 at the Shilo, but there's no better time than right now for you to hone in on your preparations.
Participants will prepare dish in their home kitchen and transport to the Recipe Rumble.
Prizes in each category will be awarded as follows:
First place — $50
Second place — $25
Third place — $10
All participants will receive the official 2012 Recipe Rumble apron. To compete for the overall “Grand Prize Package” you must compete in all five categories in the Bake-off or Cook-off divisions. Top recipes will be featured in the 2012 KLCE Cook Book to be distributed in November 2012, as well as published in future issues of Idaho Falls magazine.
