The best things in life are worth waiting for?
Not always. If you have a hankering for fantastic BBQ, head to the east side for a quick-serve establishment that will give you all the great taste of a more formal dining setting. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is now entering its third week of operation, and business is booming.
“We are happy to be in Idaho Falls and the community is extremely excited for us to open,” said local franchise owner Deanne Wilkins, who owns and operates this location with her husband Bob. This new location is 2,000 square feet and located at 2090 East 17th Street right across from Grand Teton Mall.
Bob is a business partner of the Dickey’s in St. George, Utah. Bob and Deanne plan on opening their doors in late January and are currently looking for a site for their other location in Pocatello, Idaho.
“We are very excited about the rapid growth we have had in Idaho,” said Area Developer BJ McDougal. “In addition to the Idaho Falls location we have a location in Nampa opening soon. We have great sites still available in Eastern Idaho and this is an ideal time to open a Dickey's.”
Texas-based Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is well-known for their hot pit-smoked signature meats, complimentary ice cream and the big yellow cups. The quick-serve barbecue chain has grown exponentially over the years. Dickey’s currently has 206 locations in 36 states nationwide.
Dickey’s Barbecue offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides and tangy barbecue sauce. For more information, including a full menu, other restaurant locations and franchising opportunities, visit www.dickeys.com.
