Civil Air Patrol cadets meeting |
| The cadets meet every Thursday from 6:45pm-9:00pm at the Idaho Falls Elks Lodge at 640 E Elva St.------
the Eagle Rock Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). CAP is an auxiliary of the United States Air Force and has both adult (senior) and youth (cadet) components to the program. The adult side is an airborne search and rescue and disaster recovery community service organization. The cadet side is a youth development program that teaches leadership based on an Air Force model, educates youth on aerospace topics, and teaches them emergency preparedness and disaster recovery skills. We also support community service projects, especially those which benefit veterans.
The seniors meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month, 7:00pm-8:30pm at our hangar at 1735 Foote Dr on the Idaho Falls airport.
