KIFI Local News 8 beats 20 year record
Results for November sweeps for local television
KIFI News Group, continues its ratings dominance in November Sweeps – earning a 58 In-Market Share for its News at 10 – the highest in-market share during November Ratings in two-decades, according to Nielsen Media Research. KIFI’s closest competitor at 10 delivered an 18 In-Market Share – a 40-point difference. Not only did KIFI Local News 8 break an historic in-market share record for its late local news, it remains the most-watched local news station in all of eastern Idaho and western Wyoming.

KIFI News @ Noon has been #1 since it debuted in September of 2008, early evening newscasts continue KIFI’s dominance: Local news 8 at 5 delivered a 51 in-market audience share, Local News 8 at 6 a 50 in-market share, Local News 8 at 10pm a 58 in-market share, and Local News 8 Newsline and Sportsline at 10:30 each deliver more viewers than both of its competitors combined! Weekend newscasts were equally dominant for KIFI, with a large gap between KIFI and its competitors.
