Museum Club: “Indigenous Forest People In Latin America: Who Saves the Cano
Join us on March 7 for an enlightening Museum Club presentation w/ Dr. Anthony Stocks, emeritus professor of Anthropology at Idaho State University. For several years, Dr. Stocks lived with indigenous communities in the upper Amazon basin as he studied their ecology for his doctoral dissertation. In his 27 years at ISU and beyond, he has been a driving force in supporting indigenous land claims and collaborating with environmental groups to protect tropical forests. Museum Club is included with your admission ticket, and this particular event is a great supplement to our current special exhibit, "Under the Canopy: Animals of the Rainforest!" ???
