ACT 2 will perform “Korczak’s Children” by Jeffrey Hatcher, on April 8th, 9th, 11th, 12, & 13th at 7:00 p.m. with matinees on April 12th and 13th at 2:00 p.m. The play will be performed at Christ Community Church Little Theater (room 12), 5742 South 5th West in Idaho Falls.

This play is directed by Heather Fahnestock of Idaho Falls. Assistant directors are Tasha Tisdale of Idaho Falls and Kristen Hickinbotham of Idaho Falls. The play is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. (www.playscripts.com.) “Korczak’s Children,” by Jeffrey Hatcher, is a touching drama set in Poland during World War 2. In Warsaw, Doctor Henryk Goldszmit a.k.a. Janusz Korczak runs an orphanage. After the Germans invade Poland, the orphanage is moved to the Warsaw Ghetto. Despite deplorable conditions, Korczak seeks to keep 171 orphans fed and clothed. Can Korczak help the orphans make sense of a senseless situation and protect them from what is to come? ACT 2 is part of iFamily Leadership Academy, a local group of over one hundred home school families that meet together weekly for shared educational opportunities.
