The Idaho Falls Arts Council is pleased to present The Hot Sardines on May 1 at the Colonial Theater at 7:30 p.m.

Back by popular demand, The Hot Sardines are making old jazz new again and having a party along the way. The New York based group will have die-hard jazz fans and casual listeners alike dancing in the aisles with their brassy horn arrangements, rollicking piano melodies, vocals that will transport you to a different era, and rounded out by percussion through tap dance.

“The Hot Sardines are more than just a jazz band, even people who hate jazz fell in love with them last time they were here,” said Brandi Newton, Executive Director of the Idaho Falls Arts Council, “I’ve received more requests for them to come back than for any other show.”

Tickets are $30-45 and are available through the Idaho Falls Arts Council at 208- 522-0471 or online at idahofallsarts.org.

In addition to the show, there will be a limited capacity pre-show party at City Bagels which will end in the participants following a drumline to the theater for the show. This party is a fundraising event for the Idaho Falls Arts Council and tickets are almost sold out.

Season sponsors: Fluor Idaho, Mountain View Hospital. Show Sponsors: Teton Auto Group, Carol Ormond and Steve and Jackie Larsen, Miles Willard Technologies.
