The Idaho Falls Arts Council is pleased to present Jon McLaughlin on Nov. 2 at the Colonial Theater at 7:30 p.m.

McLaughlin is a talented pianist and singer-songwriter, whose songs are honest and heartfelt.

Songs like “Beautiful Disaster” and “Beating My Heart” performed well on the charts and led to McLaughlin’s music being used in films and TV. McLaughlin performed the Oscar nominated song “So Close” from Disney’s Enchanted in the film, on the soundtrack, and during the 80th Academy Awards.

“I had the opportunity to see Jon McLaughlin perform at BB King’s Blues Club in New York. It became clear pretty quickly that he was a performer I wanted to share with Idaho Falls, and not just because I knew his name,” said Brandi Newton, Executive Director of the Idaho Falls Arts Council, “He’s an incredibly talented musician and songwriter, but he’s also charming and pretty easy on the eyes.”

Tickets are $20, $30, or $35 and are available at the Idaho Falls Arts Council at 208-522-0471 or idahofallsarts.org.
