Spectators at the upcoming Extreme Blue Thunder Air Show already have plenty of reasons for excitement. Now it looks like the show will also be tapping the talents of the region's very own Mig Fury Fighters, stationed out of Driggs.
Performing July 22-23 at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport, the Mig Fury Fighters multi-jet warbird act includes the World’s only FJ-4B Fury Fighter Jet, as well as a Mig 15 and Mig 17. This exciting display also includes a live narrated storyline with music, smoke and mock-up dog fighting.
Note: Admission to the main Air Show event, on either July 22 or July 23, is free for active military and active reserve only. Please present identification at the gate.
The 2017 Extreme Blue Thunder Air Show will take place at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport on Skyline Drive. The show will feature the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force’s F-35 Heritage Flight Team accompanied by the P-51 Mustang.
Other performers include Brad Wursten and Julie Clark & her SMOKIN’ MENTOR T-34 Aerobatic Team.
Ticket prices through July 21 are $25 for adults and $15 for children. Tickets will be available at the gate for $30 for adults and $15 for children. Children (ages 5 & under) are free. Tickets are available online.
