Clean & Green Citywide Cleanup is the perfect opportunity for residents to get rid of unwanted items. This year’s Clean & Green will start on Friday, May 5 and end on Monday, May 15.

Whether you have an old couch or a pile of branches in your backyard, residents are encouraged to tidy their homes, yards and neighborhoods during this annual event.

Back by popular demand, paper-shredding services will be provided by Western Records Destruction on Saturday, May 13, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Kingston Plaza Parking lot on W. Broadway.  There is a 2-4 box maximum per customer.

Click HERE for information about recycling, indoor and outdoor waste dumpster locations, latex paint disposal, unused or expired prescription drug disposal, large appliances or household items and graffiti removal. Residents can also call the Sanitation Division at (208) 612-8491.

Information about household hazardous waste and solid waste disposal is on the Bonneville County Public Works webpage.

If you or your organization would like to assist with citywide cleanup efforts or other City of Idaho Falls summer events or projects, contact Mason Handke in Parks & Recreation at (208) 612-8786.
