Teton Auto Group is re-opening its Honda branch in Pocatello on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The Grand Opening Gala will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its new building.
The new facility in Pocatello is designed to make customers’ experiences better, from the new Express Bays to the new Showroom.
“People will now be able to be checked in inside,” said Mario Hernandez, owner of Teton Auto Group. “So if it’s 15 below like it was last week, they don’t have to get out in the cold and trudge through the ice and the snow.”
Between five and six new people were hired as Teton Auto Group began moving into the new building, and it is expected that Teton Auto Group will hire just under a dozen more within the next couple of years.
Teton Auto Group takes great pride in being local and in having great customer service in all of its departments. Hernandez said that cars from various manufacturers are growing more alike in quality and the only thing Teton Auto Group can really offer is friendly customer service.
“That’s the real reason behind why we’re here is that we want to give our customers that good experience and have them enjoy themselves while they’re here,” said Teresa Eborn, Administrative Assistant of Teton Auto Group.
Widely known as the auto group with a dog, Teton Auto Group began in 2005 with the purchase of the Teton Toyota dealership in Idaho Falls. In 2010, the company added its auto-credit business and expanded from there to add a Volkswagen store in 2012 and Honda and Hyundai stores located in Pocatello in 2015.
Teton Auto Group has expanded and grown a lot in the last 12 years, but Hernandez said he has enjoyed it.
“It’s been, I think, healthy for our company to create some upward mobility within our organization and I think it’s been good for our customers too,” Hernandez said.
