Several businesses around the community will be recognized for excellence and a positive impact at the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce third annual Business of Distinction Awards Gala on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Colonial Theater/ Willard Arts Center. This year’s recipients are as follows:

Healthcare Industry: Summit Eyecare
Hospitality & Tourism Industry: Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center
Non-Profit Organization: Hospice of Eastern Idaho
Real Estate & Construction Industry: Idaho Falls BMG Rentals
Retail Industry: Batteries Plus Bulbs Idaho Falls
Agriculture Industry: Idahoan Foods
Manufacturing & Engineering Industry: Johnson Brothers
Chamber Member of the Year (Small Division): Tobin Cleaning and Restoration
Chamber Member of the Year (Medium Division): Citizens Community Bank
Chamber Member of the Year (Large Division): Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center
Tribute to Local Business: Snakebite Restaurant
The chamber also presents awards to specific individuals for exceptional service and leadership in the chamber, community and eastern Idaho. These recipients are as follows:
Wayne C. Hammond Award for outstanding service to the Chamber of Commerce: Steve Hunter
Charlie White Award for outstanding service to the community: Jami Horrocks
Service to Eastern Idaho Award: Karole Honas & Jay Hildebrandt
