Got a green thumb? Interested in beautifying downtown with blooming baskets and colorful planting beds? Throw on your gloves, head downtown and just add flower.
On June 11, gardeners from around Idaho Falls will be participating in the annual “Springing Downtown Forward” flower planting event, organized by the Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation (IFDDC) and local garden clubs.
Check-in is 9 a.m. is at the Civitan Plaza (corner of Park Ave and ‘B’ Street). Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, a trowel, and a “sunny” attitude as gardening enthusiasts work together to plant flowers in all the downtown planters and make Historic Downtown more beautiful than ever.
