Parents, if you’re on the hunt for something fun to keep your kids occupied next weekend, we’ve got the perfect thing for you: a birthday party. ARTitorium on Broadway is celebrating its first birthday! On August 14 - 15, admission will be $1 per person and there will be loads of birthday-themed crafts for your little ones to dive in to.
“We've had an amazing first year and I feel that ARTitorium is really starting to find its feet. I'm looking forward to what the coming year will bring and hope that we can establish ARTitorium as a destination for people across the region and beyond,” said Georgina Goodlander, Visual Arts Director for the Idaho Falls Arts Council.
Over ARTitorium’s first year, over 4,500 children have visited on school field trips, 170 art classes have been held, and thousands upon thousands of unique digital artworks and green screen videos were created by inventive kids in the community. ARTitorium and the upper-floor MC Theater also hosted over 75 community events, including TEDx Idaho Falls, Hawk’s Nest Listener Lounge, Eastern Idaho Jazz Society, and many more.
