Golf junkies, we know you’re going to hit the course every weekend for as long as there’s sunny weather, but here’s a reason to putt for a good cause. The Patriot Day Golf Scramble is happening on Saturday, September 12, at the Pinecrest Golf Course in Idaho Falls. It’s the perfect way to say “Thank you” to the fine men and women who have served our nation. All proceeds go to the Fisher House in Salt Lake City, where military families can stay while their loved ones receive medical care at the VA Medical Center.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the scramble, and the shotgun start will be at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Four-player scramble teams can enter for $200 per team, which includes all 18 holes of golf and lunch following play. Prizes will be offered for first and second place, long drive, closest to the pin, long putt, and tons of raffle prizes will be up for grabs!

To find out how to sign up or how to sponsor this event, contact Shaun Ker at 589-7149, or Mike McLendon at 243-1045.
